DiskFreeProbe typedef
Queries the free space (in bytes) of the filesystem holding the job
log's directory. Returns null when unknown (probe unavailable,
unsupported platform) — the guard then stays inactive. Injectable for
tests; hosts bind the directory (diskFreeBytes(dir) from lib/io.dart).
