requests cannot answer this: each replay states its own answers from the top and its log is dropped with them, so after the last branch it holds only that branch's. A reader asking "did this scenario ever open a request at all" — which is what a mode claiming to reach the network is judged against — would otherwise get the last path's answer and take it for the scenario's.
