TC39 Temporal date/time API for Dart. Automatically delegates to the JS Temporal API on web and to temporal_rs (Rust FFI) on native platforms. Provides Calendar, TimeZone, Instant, PlainDate, PlainTim [...]
0.1.3 #
- Expose the expanded native and web APIs: rounding, difference and string options,
overflow control,
copyWith, calendar metadata, date conversions, nanosecond instants, duration totals and comparison, and time-zone transition helpers. - Add
TemporalNowfor current dates, times, instants, and the host time zone. - Improve native duration equality and hashing performance and cache resolved native time zones.
- Update the native and JS backends and the polyfill loader to
0.0.3. - Add DateTime comparison benchmarks and expand regression and Test262 coverage.
Native time-zone behavior change: PlainDate.now(), PlainTime.now(),
PlainDateTime.now(), and PlainYearMonth.now() now use the host's local time
zone instead of UTC, matching the web backend. TemporalNow.timeZone() resolves
an IANA identifier when available and otherwise uses the host's current fixed
offset. Use ZonedDateTime.now(timeZone: TimeZone.utc) when UTC is required.
0.1.2 #
Web support is now built in. On browser targets the umbrella package automatically
delegates to the browser's native Temporal API (via temporal_js) instead of the
Rust FFI path, so you get zero-overhead date handling on the web with no extra setup.
0.1.1 #
Initial public release of the cross-platform umbrella package:
- Automatically delegates to
temporal_js(browser native Temporal API) on web and totemporal_native(Rust FFI via temporal_rs) on Dart VM / Flutter native - Full type surface:
PlainDate,PlainTime,PlainDateTime,PlainYearMonth,PlainMonthDay,Instant,ZonedDateTime,TemporalDuration,Calendar,TimeZone - Single import (
package:temporal/temporal.dart) works unchanged on every platform
