ScenarioKeyboardVerbs class

The software keyboard's own verbs — s.keyboard.

A scenario needs none of them for the ordinary case: tapping a field raises a keyboard already. These are for the cases a flow cannot express on its own — hold one up over a layout with nothing focused, swipe one away the way a user does, or take one picture without it.

Each is a step like any other verb, so the flow shows the screen moving rather than a screen that changed between two shots for no visible reason.

Properties

hashCode → int
The hash code for this object.
no setterinherited
height → double
How much of the screen it is taking, in logical pixels — 0 when down.
no setter
isAvailable → bool
Whether this stage has a keyboard at all: false on a desktop size, on a run staged as nothing, and in a folder that turned the feature off. Every verb below is a no-op when it is false.
no setter
isRequested → bool
Whether the app has asked for one — a field has focus, and the framework told the platform so.
no setter
isUp → bool
Whether one is on screen.
no setter
runtimeType → Type
A representation of the runtime type of the object.
no setterinherited
variant → KeyboardVariant
Which keyboard is on screen — what the focused field asked for, and letters where nothing did.

Methods

auto({Shot? shot, Settle? settle}) → Future<void>
Back to following the app, which is where every scenario starts.
dismiss({Shot? shot, Settle? settle}) → Future<void>
The platform closing it without the app being touched — a swipe down on Android, the dismiss key on an iPad.
hide({Shot? shot, Settle? settle}) → Future<void>
Holds it down, whatever the app asks for — one picture of the whole screen in the middle of a flow that is typing into it.
noSuchMethod(Invocation invocation) → dynamic
Invoked when a nonexistent method or property is accessed.
inherited
show({Shot? shot, Settle? settle}) → Future<void>
Holds it up, focus or no focus — what does this layout do with a third of the screen gone, asked without hunting for a field to tap.
toString() → String
A string representation of this object.

The equality operator.
